Hey there, I’m Milan and I'm excited to welcome you to Potty Buddy.
The idea behind Potty Buddy really started because I absolutely love to solve problems.
In fact, I used to be an environmental engineer, working on preserving our waterways and helping design more sustainable cities.
One day, as I was shopping for some pet products at my local pet store, I realized there were some serious faults with one common product found in almost every pet parent’s home...
This specific product was not only bad for the environment; it also didn’t offer dog owners and their dogs the proper support they needed.
The product was disposable pee pads.
And the major problem was that they were made of plastic and created a ton of landfill waste, all while typically being very flimsy and frequently leaking onto floors and furniture.
In addition to all these shortcomings, reusable pads were expensive in the long run, costing pet parents hundreds of dollars every year with regular use.
(Don’t get me started on the choking hazard they pose for young puppies.)
This got me thinking…what if there was a solution that was more effective in supporting the health & wellbeing of dogs, saved pet parents money, and ultimately helped them to feel more relaxed and confident?
After testing a bunch of different disposable pads, I knew that this wasn’t the ideal solution.
(Don’t worry, I used imitation puppy urine for these tests.)
No, what pet parents needed was pet training products that actually helped to potty train their puppy successfully, protected their home from any mess, and didn’t create so much landfill waste.
In other words…
Pet training products that put their dog’s health & happiness first, without costing the earth either.
So, along with my wife, we put our heads together to hunt out this solution. Which was when we discovered a game-changing solution that had the potential to revolutionize puppy potty training…
Reusable dog potty pads that could be washed and reused time and time again, were ultra-absorbent, had a leak proof layer to eliminate any leakage, and featured practical anti-slip silicone dots to prevent the pads from sliding.
It was our eureka, light bulb moment. But the funny thing is…this was just the beginning of our journey.

Likewise, in our mission to offer mindful products for conscientious pet owners, we aim to reduce the environmental impact of our operations wherever possible & regularly reassess our procedures to reflect this.
In case we haven’t already made it obvious, we’re absolutely mad about pooches here at Potty Buddy. Young, old, small, large, long-haired, short-haired, pedigree or a rescue mutt…we love them all!
And ultimately, we believe that every dog has the right to healthy toilet hygiene.
